“Too Late Now”: Lewis Hamilton Laments Ferrari Approach After Italian GP Tangle With Charles Leclerc

Charles Leclerc admitted his opening-lap scrap with Ferrari team-mate Lewis Hamilton went “too far” before crashing out of Sunday’s Italian Grand Prix, leaving a vast scarlet-clad crowd disappointed. The Monegasque driver clashed with Hamilton at the first chicane, where the Briton bounced into the gravel and dropped to 10th from fourth. “Charles pushed me off,” moaned Hamilton on team radio. Leclerc then slammed into the barriers at Parabolica on lap two and out of the race.
